les NAC is the way French people talk about exotic pets; any pet but cats and dogs, really. NAC is the acronym for Nouveaux Animaux de Compagnie – New Pets.

- “Exotic pets are really in these days. Any fish, lizards, ferrets and spiders are really popular among children.”
