Mot du jour Podcast

baliser, to be scared

baliser – to meter – means to be scared in familiar French.

« On balise parce qu’on n’a toujours pas reçu la confirmation courriel du billet d’avion. »

“We’re scared because we still haven’t received the e-mail confirmation for the plane ticket.”

présent : je balise, nous balisons

imparfait : je balisais, nous balisions

futur : je baliserai, nous baliserons

There are many other expressions you probably won’t find in your textbook on the Web site. Venez nous voir.

That was Anne’s native take on a French expression. Bonne journée française.
