Oh la vache ! – Oh the cow – Oh la vache ! denotes a surprise. I’d translate it as Wow or Oh my gosh.
« Oh la vache ! C’est super difficile de jouer à la pétanque. »
“Wow, it’s really hard to play pétanque.”
