Mot du jour Podcast

se tirer

se tirer – to shoot oneself – means to leave a place in a rush, to split.

« C’te conf est barbante. Je m’tire. »
“This lecture is boring. I’m splitting.”

présent : je me tire, nous nous tirons

imparfait : je me tirais, nous nous tirions

futur : je me tirerai, nous nous tirerons

There are many other expressions you probably won’t find in your textbook on the Web site. Venez nous voir.
