resquiller means to sneak in somewhere – a bus, a train, standing in line – and manage to not pay for a ticket. In every day language, it is often used to say to cut the line, to go in front of someone.
« J’aime pas faire la queue en France. Les gens resquillent toujours. C’est désagréable. »
“I don’t like to stand in lines in France. They always cut the line. It’s really unfriendly.”
présent : je resquille, nous resquillons
passé composé : j’ai resquillé, nous avons resquillé
futur : je resquillerai, nous resquillerons

thank you so much for doing this. it’s very helpful to those of us trying to learn the French language.
i do have a request, though. could you possibly include a basic pronunciation guide? for me, at least, pronunciation is often a major obstacle.
You’ll find a few exercises to improve by typing “pronunciation” in the search box. And there will be more as the Web site grows. And of course, there are many more in the Members’ area. Bonne chance Gabe.
